Brendan McGee

Managing Director

Brendan McGee brings 24 years’ experience in the Donegal property market and is a passionate property man through and through. Having been with Franklins since its infancy, he now owns and leads the business, guiding its direction while remaining hands-on with valuations, instruction taking and sales, alongside the day-to-day management of the company.

A former GAA player with Buncrana, Brendan now spends his spare time at gym classes and enjoys running socially. Other hobbies include cooking and the thrill of foreign travel. Brendan is married and a father of two children, Oisin and Hollie.

Sharon McCready

Lettings Manager

Sharon joined the Franklins team in August 2014. Sharons background is in customer services so her role is a natural progression as day to day duties involve interacting with tenants, landlords and contractors. “I thoroughly enjoy my job and the diversity of my working week, never a dull moment which is a very positive thing.

When I’m not in the office, I enjoy quality time with my family and friends. I dabble in a bit of gardening too and have been known to grow quite tasty vegetables! I also enjoy running but I’m very new to this so my first half marathon is a long way away yet!”

Aoife Nee

Lettings Administrator

With a strong background in legal administration and customer care, Aoife possesses all the credentials required for this industrious role. Married to Mark, Aoife’s spare time is used walking on the beach and more recently 5km running. With a keen interest in mindfulness Aoife believe in the theory of a healthy mind is a healthy body!

Rachel Kelly

Lettings Administrator

I joined Franklins in 2024 as a Lettings Administrator and have really enjoyed being part of such a supportive and fast-paced environment. I studied in Galway, where I completed a Level 8 Bachelor of Business (Honours) Degree in Accounting – an experience that gave me a strong eye for detail and a solid foundation for working in property.

Before starting my professional career, I competitively Irish danced up until the age of 18, which gave me amazing opportunities to travel, perform, and meet people from all over.

In my free time, I still enjoy travelling and exploring new places and spending time with family and friends, going for walks, and keeping active at the gym.

Shona Sweeney

Sales Administrator / Accounts

Shona joined the Franklins Team in March 2022. With a strong background in Secretarial Skills having studied at LYIT in Letterkenny, Shona is a hard-working and driven person who isn’t afraid to face a challenge. She is passionate about her work and knows how to get the job done.

When not working, she enjoys going for walks along our beautiful beaches, reading, jiving, spending time with family and socialising with her friends.
